wako is a movie, TV show, and anime tracking app. It helps you organize your watchlist, discover new content, and keep your watch history synced across all your devices — with built-in tracking through your wako account, or by connecting Trakt.tv or SIMKL if you already use them. wako also includes a built-in media player and Kodi remote control.

Once installed, you can browse trending movies, TV shows, and anime. Sign in with a wako account to track and sync your watchlist, history, and ratings — or connect your Trakt.tv or SIMKL account if you already use one. You can see where content is available on platforms like Netflix, Disney+, and more.

wako includes a built-in media player for watching trailers directly in the app. It can also play content from your personal media servers.

wako does not provide any content or streaming sources — all media comes from your own library or services you configure.

Add-ons are third-party extensions that enhance wako's functionality with additional catalogs, subtitles, or metadata. You can install and manage them in Settings > Extensions.

Add-ons are not developed or maintained by wako. You are solely responsible for ensuring that any add-ons you install comply with applicable laws and terms of service.

No. wako has built-in tracking through your wako account, so Trakt or SIMKL are not required. They stay fully supported, though — if you already use Trakt or SIMKL, you can connect either one and wako will sync with it.

Both are movie and TV tracking platforms. Trakt.tv has a larger community and deep Kodi integration. SIMKL offers comprehensive anime support and a broader content database. wako supports both — you can use either or switch between them at any time.

To track and sync your library across devices, sign in with a wako account — you can create one in seconds with Google or email. Prefer Trakt or SIMKL? You can sign in with those instead. Premium features require an active subscription.

Premium includes: built-in player (trailers, personal media), playlists, multiple Kodi hosts (up to 10), cloud backup, real-time sync, save for later, and multiple profiles (up to 6).

You only need one active subscription. Sign in with the same account — your wako account, or Trakt/SIMKL — on all your devices, and your premium status and library will be shared.

Open Settings > Account — your user ID is shown right there. The new app puts it front and center, so it's easy to find.

Make sure you're signed in to the same account you used to subscribe. If the issue persists, contact support at wakoapplication@gmail.com with your user ID.

wako is available on iOS (iPhone + iPad), Android (phone + tablet), and Android TV.

wako only collects what it needs to work: your account details, the profile and library you create, your subscription status, and anonymous diagnostics to fix crashes. We never sell your data, and we don't access the media you play.
